Your Coach
Hey! I’m Brandon. But call me Doss – all my friends do.
I started in construction at 16 years old. I hated school, I was rebelling and I had no direction. My careers teacher suggested the trades and I had a mate who was doing a plumbing apprenticeship – it seemed the best choice for me at the time.
In the nine years I spent as a qualified plumber, I loved developing meaningful relationships with my work mates, but I came to hate the culture of bullying and racism. I had no incentive to go above and beyond, I had no work/life balance, and my career in construction was destroying my mental and physical health.
I decided to choose a different path. I took my experience in construction and combined it with my passion for helping others and became a coach.
Now I support others – who may be experiencing what I did – to thrive in their life and work, and guide construction employers to creating amazing workplace cultures where everyone is outrageously driven.
